Got an Inkling?

Wacom has outdone itself!

This pen came straight out of my dreams. You might be curious why I’m going gaga over $200 pen. If you draw you would understand what the fuss is about. I have an ancient Wacom tablet (which is still working by the way) and I keep it because it still is better that using a mouse to work on digital images. I didn’t upgrade because although a newer one might have better

features, I never could get used to the feel of stylus on tablet. I just can’t get those strokes right, and the perennial draw and undo can kill your mood. And then there is that draw on the tablet but look at the screen. I can’t get that to work too well either. So I draw almost exclusively on paper if I can help it.

Until of course I get an Inkling. I can draw on paper with a pen (well I prefer pencil, but I can live with pen). I know Wacom is brilliant with pressure sensitivity so no worries there. And you can layer and save as vector if that’s what you please.  And it comes in this iddy biddy pen box which make it so portable which means I’m not stuck to my computer.  Now how cool is that? The Wacom Inkling is now out in the market and US retailing in the US for US$199.95.

I so love Wacom right now!

Just watch this video and tell me it isn’t to die for. Ok it isn’t. I’ll have no use for it if I’m dead. I’m just saying. I really got to have it!
